Campaigns have been using it and we have been perfecting it over the past 3 years.
Last year, we leased it to the get out the vote effort for Dan Squadron in his campaign against Martin Connor and it was also the engine that drove the canvassing program for Sheldon Silver's re-election.
This year showed the importance of successful door to door and telephone canvassing campaigning. Lincoln Voters allows campaigns to identify their core supporters and flag them, then build a network of friends and families. Constantly counting the voters gives a campaign the information they need to determine when they have the votes needed win or how much effort is needed.
The system is secure and can be used by multiple supporters. You can upload lists and match them for voter information. It is robust for petitioning and turns the gathering process into a fully verifiable field operation.
You can mail from it, create lists and maintain the data you collect along the way, fixing phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
